Dr. Richard Heuser advises primarily on corporate law. He designs and drafts articles of association, shareholding structures and capital measures, and supports the corporate restructuring of companies. His practice focuses on corporate and share transactions – acquisitions and disposals, succession in family-owned businesses, management buy-outs and investor participations. He guides clients through the entire process, from structuring and due diligence to contract negotiation and closing. He also represents clients in corporate disputes, both out of court and in litigation.

In addition, Dr. Heuser advises borrowers on acquisition and corporate financing, the granting of security, and the refinancing and restructuring of existing facilities.

His clients include owner-managed companies, family offices, private investors and foreign companies. Before joining SBP, Dr. Heuser worked for an international law firm, a DAX-listed company and as managing director of a family office. He has been admitted to the bar since 2011 and has been a certified specialist in banking and capital markets law (Fachanwalt für Bank- und Kapitalmarktrecht) since 2015.
